The ABDO Ostomy Shield stoma guard protects your ostomy from unexpected knocks and bumps. It is a robust, yet light device, curved and sculpted to be discreet under clothes.
How does the ABDO Ostomy Shield stoma guard work?
Our ostomy shield works by creating a dome or bridge over your stoma to protect and allow flow, even when wearing close fitting clothes. Yes, you can wear jeans or a belt with those trousers with our ostomy shield.
Simply attaches directly to your bag. If you need a little more height, an optional 3mm neoprene riser pad set is included with every ostomy shield, along with 25 spare sets of loop velcro.
A belt to attach it is not necessary, however, if you prefer, you can secure the shield with a belt - available for purchase here separately.

Very easy to use and does exactly what it was designed for
Spent a lot of time trying to find a stoma guard and there it was in my own country. Arrived in days of ordering and love it. I play hockey and feel I need to protect my stoma. The guard fits snuggly on the bag with the Velcro strips, it is not bulky so is comfortably under the waistband of my shorts, for the game I used a belt for extra security.
It was so snug I forgot it was there, I can now play sport with the assurance of protection and the knowledge that others do not even know of its existence. I will be using g it for any activities that involve a lot of bending or pressure on my stoma, gardening, indoor rowing.
